About Me

Victoria is Chief Executive of byrne·dean training and is a very experienced facilitator who is known for her personal, engaging and powerful interactive style.  Victoria joined byrne·dean in 2005 direct from the market leading employment law team at Simmons & Simmons.  Here Victoria was a highly respected senior associate with a decade of experience in advising leading employers on a variety of employment issues and disputes.  Victoria uses her extensive experience of running a wide range of employment claims in the Employment Tribunal and High Court in her sessions to analyse where things can go wrong.  Her practical approach arises from real life examples, enabling participants to see the benefits of adapting their behaviour at work.  Her focus is always to provide ideas and techniques on how to achieve the desired outcomes.


Victoria leads our diversity and inclusion work stream, supported by the principles of emotional intelligence and provides thought provoking and engaging discussion led sessions.  These are designed to explore the impact of unconscious bias on routine and critical decisions and to work with individuals to reflect on how this knowledge can benefit their leadership and lead to an environment where everybody thrives.


Victoria regularly leads global projects for clients in a number of locations delivering recently in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, New York and several European locations.


Victoria has conducted and advised on numerous investigations into allegations of misconduct and discrimination and remains a core member of the investigations team at byrne·dean.  This ensures that she remains connected to the sort of employment problems we talk about day to day.
